RABBITRY POLICY
*All adoptions are conducted in agreement with this policy regardless of whether the buyer has read it or not. By inquiring about or adopting a rabbit from us you are complying to this policy in full.*
- Rabbits will be advertised at birth, interest is encouraged but reservations via non-refundable deposit will only be accepted after 4/6 weeks of age to insure health of the kit. Deposits are dependent per rabbit. A rabbit WILL NOT be held without deposit. A rabbit is available until the deposit is received.
- Adoption fee may vary depending on breed etc. All rabbits come with full pedigree unless being retired or specified pet only.
- Sexing will begin at 3 weeks and will not be guaranteed at the time they go home (we do our best but mistakes can happen).
- Kits will be a minimum of 8 weeks old before going to their new homes. This gives them crucial time with their mothers to receive nutrients to strengthen their gut flora, which is imperative to a healthy rabbit.
- Health and happiness are our main priorities in raising rabbits, all of our kits will be adopted in the utmost of health to the best of our knowledge. If for some reason your reserved rabbit does not exceed our health expectations or passes away before 8 weeks old your deposit will be moved onto another rabbit of your choice or you will be moved on to the next litter.
- Failure to communicate with us regarding your reservation/ pick up times etc. gives us the right to put said rabbit back up for adoption without refunding deposit.
- We hold the right to refuse adoption for any reason either before or after a reservation has been made. A full deposit will be refunded in the event of a refusal along with a detailed explanation of our decision.
- Transportation: we are willing to meet within reason to meet APPROVED transporters only. Rabbits will be provided with adequate transition feed for their journey. Buyers will receive pictures/videos the day of transport pick up to document condition when they are put on transport. Rabbits will only be placed on transport if they are 8 weeks of age or older & 100% healthy* We are not responsible & will NOT refund if said rabbit is injured / or becomes ill while on transport or when they arrive home after being on transport- as that is completely out of our control.*
- When old enough we will schedule a pick up date with you. That date is firm whether it be local pick up or transportation pick up. I will give one day grace period after scheduled pick up day. If not picked up within 48 hours of scheduled pick up day, there will be 25$/week boarding fee.
- Our breeders are given immense care and love. Our rabbits eat Kalmbach 18% best in show pellets, 1/2 cup daily for our Holland Lops and unlimited pellets for our English Lops. Unlimited hay and water is given 24-7. Our breeders are fully vaccinated for Pasturella and are dewormed every 3 months. Feel free to ask information on rabbit care at any time.
